About Me

Often, we get the message that we should have it all figured out, no one else has problems, or we should be able to “fix” it ourselves.

Maybe we are comparing our lives to our friends and family. It feels embarrassing. However, the stronger one is the one who reaches out for help.

For that, I already admire your courage. Please let me join you in your brave step forward!

Look, this is a hard step in life.

My Approach

When starting this journey with me you will find that I like to sift through the fog and clearly identify the outcome that you would like to achieve. I focus on this and aim to bring hope back into your life.

I like to create an atmosphere of compassion and understanding without judgement. I like to engage with curiosity to better understand your unique set of challenges.

Together we will find solutions to your most concerning issues and break the never-ending unhealthy patterns you are stuck in.

First, we start with a consultation call where I listen to your story and identify briefly what your goals are.

I will evaluate if I would be the best fit for your situation. From there we will have our first session and dive deeper into what you would like to achieve.

Some even leave feeling like they have a few solutions to try before the 2nd session. From there we will continue to identify solutions to your goals and reevaluate them at the beginning of each new session.

We continue this until you are satisfied with the progress you have made and are confident in your own ability to maintain the gains you have made in therapy.

The Process

Therapeutic Techniques

To help you make the most progress, I mainly use the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach.

Many will talk for years about your “problem”. I take an approach that is focused on doing something different, increasing what works, and keeping it outcome oriented. This way we do not get caught in the weeds of issues and problems.

We cut to the chase and navigate those rough waters with real solutions that we identify together.

Is therapy right for you?

The fact that this is even a question means it most likely is a good option to get more out of your life and relationships.

People do not need to wait until their life is completely fallen apart before getting the help they need.

Early intervention is the best way to get back on track and find more joy and hope in life.

My Background

From an early age, I always enjoyed helping people, but in my early adult years, I had a unique church service opportunity.

This lead me to discovering my joy of working with families and couples. I ended up working with a program called the “Strengthening Families Program”, which solidified my desire.

I felt such joy helping individuals, couples, and families make positive change. We all need that help and support at some point. I am happy to be a part of it!

If you read to this point and something has resonated with you, then reach out. It’s never too late to change yourself and the relationships around you.

The best investment you can make in life is investing in becoming a better person. Now is an opportunity to do just that. You have it in you!

Staying frustrated and unhappy does not have to be the norm.

Have some compassion and know that you are not alone in this.
